Most of my paintings trend to abstract. I enjoy the opportunity to just see where my feelings and emotions take me working with the paint. Often concepts around mythology, cryptozoology, fantasty and space feature prominently in my work. Painting for me is much more spiritual in nature compared to my illustration work, though, as I get more proficient with the brush and ink, my paintings are working towards more of an traditional approach.
